No 8: Ochai Ogbaji

For the 8th pick, New Orleans Pelicans will select Ochai Ogbaji from NCAA champions Kansas. As a team, Kansas was the favorite to win it all and they went on and delivered it. Ochai was the piece in this very decorated college team. 2022 NCAA MOP ( Most Outstanding Player) had an incredible season and has the stats to prove it as well. He averaged 18.5 ppg with 5.1 rebounds. He is a very good shooter from downtown. His off-ball movement is really good but might be excepted by a four-year college guy. He is a very fit and strong guard, he is 6'6 200 pounds with 5,4% body fat. But his defensive intensity is lacking compared to his rivals but that's a fixable issue. With an already talent-packed New Orleans squad if they can solve the "Zion" problem Pelicans will be a decent contender in years to come.
